This is my New Prototype circuit. It is a very high efficient JOULE THIEF based circuit.
 
The unit NOW also has charging board for rechargeable batteries, 
you can use it with disposable batteries or rechargeable ones.
It has the capability to drain all the remaing energy of used AA regular batteries 
It is able to power the 10mm Led for a long long time.
The power concumption ranges from 0.003A to 0.012A & the voltage from 0.25V to 1.5Volt.
It is adjustable in brightness via a potentiometer to meet your personal needs.
 
A joule thief is a minimalist Armstrong self-oscillating voltage booster that is small, 
low-cost, and easy to build, typically used for driving light loads.
It can use nearly all of the energy in a single-cell electric battery, 
even far below the voltage where other circuits consider the battery fully discharged; 
hence the name, which suggests the notion that the circuit is
 stealing energy or "joules" from the source. 
The term is a pun on the expression "jewel thief": one who steals jewelry or gemstones.
 
 
Ηow to operate it
 
There is a "green" power potentiometer rotary switch. To operate the device and 
to increase the intensity of the Led! 
Use all your old ΑΑ disposable batteries to discharge them completely and 
you will have light in times of emergency...
 
OR
 
Use with rechargeable batteries, charge with micro usb and discharge them! 
 
 
Do not use DISPOSABLE batteries to charge them, 
only rechargeable ones should be used with the charger.
 
 
Τhe rechargeable battery are have big "capacity", So if the battery are discharged "empty", 
you will have to wait for "some time" until it recharges.
First charge over 10 hours. This way the battery will be fully activated...
When the "RED led" lights up on charger module means it charges the battery.
When the RED led is "OFF" means that the battery is charged.
 
 
NOTE
 
Maybe there are small differences in electronic components 
and materials (like bigger batteries etc.) due to device enhancement for the buyer's benefit!
